Ruth Jones also continued her fine XC form with a strong third place which secured her own individual series XC title to go alongside the team prize.
Our senior lades team of Becki Robinson, Sarah Carroll and Ambi Swindells came away with an impressive silver medal and Carl Hardman front ran throughout and won the men's race by 2 seconds.
Over in Lancashire, we finished with 4 runners in the top 10 and a determined finish from John Lloyd meant that we won Gold by 2 points.
Our junior runs also continued their fine form and won a number of medals across the age categories with the highlight being Sam Hopkins winning the U13 boys race.
Across the age categories we won 3x Gold, 3x Silver and 1x Bronze.
Saturday also saw a 1-2 finish at the SELCC XC race in Heaton Park. Joe Bailey pulled away over the final lap from Will Beauchamp (picture below). Sarah Carroll also ran a good race to finish in 14th in the Women's race.
The winning continued on sunday as Gary Priestley finished 1st at the RunTatton half marathon. Bruno Lima came 3rd in the 10km.

Saturday saw the first cross country of the season at Wythenshawe Park. Normally last in the series in the cold of February, the sun shone on our junior and senior runners with plenty of top performances. It was good to see many of our new members taking part in cross country for the first time also.
Well done to everyone who ran this weekend
